Dr Matt Jenkins is a statistical consultant and educator. Having taught both qualitative and quantitative theory, methodology and methods in the British University sector for almost a decade – and receiving his PhD for work around the creation of official statistics – Matt is well placed to advise on all aspects of the statistical process. This runs from statistical design, helping you to decide what data you need and how best to gather it; through to the analysis and reporting of data which you already have. Underpinning this work is a commitment to innovative solutions to challenges – unlike many providers of statistical services, Matt will not give you meaningless statistics if more meaningful, non-statistical, options are available. Rather, he takes pride in the fact that the numbers he gives you have some thought behind them. His own statistical consultancy, Standard & Deviant, is built around this committment to putting thought into numbers.
